"Tasefelegnalh" and "Danash" Take Flight on Ethiopian Airlines This November

Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution is delighted to announce that two remarkable Ethiopian films—Tasefelegnalh (in English, I Need You) and Danash (in English, Footsteps)—are now available on all Ethiopian Airlines flights, starting November 1, 2025. Written, produced, and directed by Amha Duguma Tsehaye, Tasefelegnalh is a comedy infused with tension, romance, and unexpected turns. The story follows a man neck-deep in dangerous, illicit dealings whose world shifts when he falls for a principled young woman urging him toward a better life. Just as a fragile connection begins to form, the sudden return of his ex-lover complicates everything—igniting a charged love triangle where loyalty, passion, and redemption collide. The film features standout performances from Selomon Muhe, Mulualem Getachew, Bayusyhe Kebede, and Firehiwot Tamerat, each bringing depth and humanity to this emotionally layered narrative.

Danash (Footsteps) tells the deeply emotional story of Fistume and Blene, a devoted couple bound by love, service, and shared purpose. Fistume, an ambitious entrepreneur partnering with Azeb to tackle youth unemployment, is driven by a passion to uplift society. Blene, nurturing and selfless, devotes her life to raising orphans with unconditional love. Though unable to have children of their own, their marriage remains steadfast—until tragedy strikes. Blene saves a young girl from falling, only to suffer a devastating fall herself. As she fights for her life, Fistume is thrust into a painful reckoning, forced to confront the balance between his life’s mission and the woman who is his world.
