Five2 Entertainment, in partnership with Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution, is proud to announce the virtual cinema release of Extra Mile, a gripping Nollywood drama directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kayode Kasum and starring an accomplished ensemble led by Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Lilian Esoro and Jim Iyke. The film will premiere exclusively on Circuits TV on November 26, 2026.

Mercy Johnson-Okojie anchors the film with a compelling performance, charting Efemena’s transformation from a sophisticated woman of privilege to a vulnerable prisoner forced to confront circumstances far beyond her control.

Produced by Five2 Entertainment, with Joy Grant-Ekong and Solate Ovundah-Akarolo serving as producers, Extra Mile is a compelling story of friendship, betrayal, deception and self-reclamation, bringing together an impressive cast in a character-driven drama with crime and psychological intrigue at its core.

At the centre of the story is Efemena, played by Mercy Johnson-Okojie (Battle on Buka Street, Passport), a woman whose seemingly picture-perfect life — complete with social privilege, a beautiful home and a devoted husband, Tonye, played by Jim Iyke (Bad Comments, Merry Men) — is suddenly torn apart.

When Efemena intervenes to protect her best friend, Eniola, from what she believes to be an abusive marriage, her attempt to help takes a devastating turn. She becomes implicated in a murder and is ultimately imprisoned for a crime she did not commit.

What emerges is a deeply personal journey through betrayal, heartbreak and the difficult process of reclaiming her identity and freedom.
