David 'Gee' Ahanmisi is a Nigerian filmmaker, with a degree in Psychology from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He started his film career as a writer in 2011 when he wrote "Awakening", a film released in cinemas in 2013 and nominated for both AMAA and AMVCA. His passion and desire to tell African stories pushed him to take a second degree in creative arts from the University of Lagos, Akoka as a foundation for film directing. He has many directing credits to his name for TV and film projects such as "Ajoche", "Unbroken", "Riona", "Warrior In Heels", "Deceptive Measures" and "Long Sleeves", and his most recent project, "The Other One".
