Lillian Amah-Aluko
Lillian has a certificate in Film and TV Production from the University of California Los Angeles School of Theatre, Film and TV as well as Bachelors and Masters degrees in English from the University of
Lagos. Before joining the entertainment industry, Lillian worked in the private sector for 15 years as an airhostess, marketing executive and banker. She left after a five-year stint in Fidelity Bank PLC where she was the acting Head of Private Banking until 2005. Lillian is also a member of Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria (AMP), Actors Guild of Nigeria, National Association of Nigeria Theatre Practitioners (NANTAP), and Audio Visual Rights Society (AVRS). An actor, producer and writer, Lillian is the Executive Producer and Producer of the psychological thriller drama, "The Other One", and also stars as Miriam in the film.
Character Bio
Jummai’s older sister, Miriam is a vindictive Northerner who holds Jidechi responsible for Jummai’s estrangement from her family, and still believes almost 18 years after, that Jummai made a terrible mistake. She has an intense dislike for Jidechi while she barely tolerates Jeozichi who looks like her father. Jummai’s look-alike, she is a taut, angry, wealthy woman who dresses in sumptuous hijabs and abayas and has a tinge of a northern accent. She is the mother of 3 children who are studying in foreign universities.
